I don't really talk about money to anyone in real life, other than my DM and DP.

I'm being nosy, I know but a few numbers aren't going to out me!

I get paid on Friday so I currently I have £5.54 in my account and £15k locked away in ISA's and Bonds.

How much do you have in the bank?

JamieVardysParty · 01/06/2016 14:54

I've got about 22k altogether in my accounts. DH has around 250k in various accounts, stocks etc.

ThePebbleCollector · 01/06/2016 14:54

£1.79.

£10k in debt with a toddler to look after. No savings, no overdraft.

Querty12345 · 01/06/2016 14:54

Yes YABU.

StrawberrytallCake · 01/06/2016 14:56

Why are you all happily giving away this info after the security breach last year??? It's craziness.

ThePebbleCollector · 01/06/2016 14:57

I don't think there is anything more depressing for me than reading this thread. Should have avoided! haha

notamummy10 · 01/06/2016 14:57

£12.15 Sad

oldlaundbooth · 01/06/2016 14:58

None of your bloody business Grin

Current account, 500 quid.

About a grand in an ISA.

4 grand in another savers account

8 grand in another saving account

(sorry, can't do sterling sign on this keyboard)

Because I have nothing and nothing linked to the email address or details on this account :)

PinkParsnips · 01/06/2016 14:59

About 1700 in current account and 2000 in savings but half will be gone next week as it is holiday spending money.

oldlaundbooth · 01/06/2016 15:00

Come on Pink - more than 500k?

NerrSnerr · 01/06/2016 15:01

I have about £1700 in my current account but £1000 of that is going to be transferred to the joint account for bills. No idea what's in the other accounts as I hate dealing with money. I have the means to access them but I choose not to.

Abbinob · 01/06/2016 15:01

Giving away this information because if anyone wants to rob me for minus 8 quid they're more than welcome Grin

SurlyValentine · 01/06/2016 15:03

£7k in an ISA, which will most likely have disappeared by this time next year as it's going on wedding expenses. DP has about the same amount. We are trying to spend as little as possible though, so we have some savings left after we get married.

£500 in another savings account, but that is going on holiday spending money.

£120 in my current account but that only needs to last until I go on holiday later this month. £800 in joint account, but this will be down to zero by payday, as we only put in enough to cover rent and bills.

StrawberrytallCake · 01/06/2016 15:03

Fair enough pebble but the people who say they have squillions are crazy. Even if your email addresses don't match hackers have ways - infecting your computer and all sorts of stuff.

ShadowsInTheDarkness · 01/06/2016 15:03

£50 to last til next friday. I have no overdraft. No savings.
The things I could do with just a tiny fraction of some of your account balances!!.

Kim82 · 01/06/2016 15:04

£91 in our spends account, £2 in our savings account and £62 in the bills account - all our big bills came out today.

The £91 has to last us until Tuesday but I've already bought this week's food so it isn't needed for anything in particular.

notamummy10 · 01/06/2016 15:04

I don't get my student loan until September either!! I do wish my student loan was paid in monthly instalments, it'd make life so much easier!

maggiethemagpie · 01/06/2016 15:07

about 300 in current account
about 1.3k in savings

Not loads really, but we've just paid for a wedding and DH owns a flat he rents out (which is his income as he's a SAHD) so if the shit ever really hit the fan (as in I lost my job )we'd have that to live on until I got something else.

jamdonut · 01/06/2016 15:27

I got paid on Tuesday.I transferred money into our current account the same day and had - (yes, minus) £223😞. DH gets paid Friday, but mortgage and associated direct debits have to go out today...

We live on a constant £1000 overdraft. We've been married 26 years, and it has ever been thus Sad.

TriJo · 01/06/2016 15:30

Got paid today, third month of four on full salary while on maternity leave. I have £6k in my savings account, £3,500 in my current account and €800 in my Irish current account to cover spends for a trip to visit family later this month.

LaBelleOtero · 01/06/2016 15:37

About £2000 in my current account. I've had so little income for the last few years that it hasn't occurred to me to look into anything that would give interest.

Elle80 · 01/06/2016 15:45

Wow some of you are my inspiration! May I ask if you have children or if they are grown up? All of my money seems to go on nursery fees for our DDs! I have a pretty well paid job but work part-time, but I never have any money! I pay for nursery (£1100 per month), food and the Council tax. My DH pays for everything else (mortgage, bills) neither of us has much left at the end of the month. I keep telling my DH that nursery isn't forever, but sometimes it is disheartening how much money it sucks up. I long to have a healthy bank balance

JoffreyBaratheon · 01/06/2016 15:50

A month's wages but by tomorrow most of it will be gone - I set up all the direct debits for thew first 3 days of the month, otherwise they'd never get paid. Wink I do have a fair bit in Paypal.

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 01/06/2016 15:54

£37.15

almapudden · 01/06/2016 15:59

£16.5k in ISAs, £1k in easily accessible savings, and £650 in my bank account. Get paid in two weeks.
