Trying to check weather for a beach trip today. Three websites all say different things. Hmm

All I want to know is it going to pee it down on me on the flaming beach.

No need for a weather app, it's half term and it's June so of course is going to rain Grin

HackerFucker22 · 01/06/2016 07:18

I find Accuweather best.

biglips · 01/06/2016 07:23

I bounced between metcheck and bbc weather. Metcheck is the one I like the most

ByTheWishingWell · 01/06/2016 07:25

I use the met office website. Partly because it seems the most optimistic, but it has been right recently!

Jimjamjoos · 01/06/2016 07:28

Met office is the best. If there's even a slight chance of rain, the BBC site will say rain and have that as the picture. Well it used to! I remember on the news some tourist destinations were blaming the BBC weather site for putting tourists off visiting.

SisterViktorine · 01/06/2016 07:29

You need the 'rain today' app. You can actually watch the rain coming on the radars. Be warned.. it's addictive.

MackerelOfFact · 01/06/2016 07:34

I always look at Met Office first but find AccuWeather the most reliable (apparently they use a combination of the two at Wimbledon!)

imsorryiasked · 01/06/2016 07:38

I find Norway met office pretty reliable. You can put in your actual town or District. www.yr.no/place/United_Kingdom/England/

I've discovered an amazing app called "dark skies". It's very accurate

heron98 · 01/06/2016 07:46

My friend is a meteologist (or however you spell it). She says all the forecasts are dumbed down representations of reality. Actually, it's very hard to predict British weather accurately, particularly where it might be showery so they just do their best.

Tiredbutfuckingfine · 01/06/2016 07:51

I agree that yr.no is strangely accurate.
