HE WOKE THE BABY

He launched placed some ice into his glass at an unfavourable volume for our 10 week old. It woke him up. In that moment that I heard him stir I was so so so angry at my husband. Poor him, it wasn't his fault Grin

To his credit he did soothe babe back to sleep. I'm tucking into trifle to calm myself.

Probably a bit ... but I was (and still am sometimes) utterly unreasonable when it comes to fuckers waking up my children. I have calmed down a lot but in the sleep deprived early days when all that would soothe my squalling weans were my boobs I would go BONKERS if they were woken up.

Neighbour knocked on the door at 9 last night to collect a parcel I'd taken in for her. Woke my 5 month old. I wanted to punch her in the face.
At least he settled her again.
