Me; Yes fine thanks smell, how about you? Xx
While later...
Me; How's your day going? Are you still going for a bike ride tonight? X
DH; i dunno yet i’ll ask roger (name changed)
Me;How's you and how's your day going have been ignored...
DH;Ok thanks smelly and i’ve not been ignoring you i’m busy 😟
Me; You text me first asking how my day was if you don't have time to talk / respond to my return query don't message to begin with 🤔
DH;Sorry i was just seeing how you were
Me;Ok but I bet you have time to talk rubbish with Roger / Bob / Dave etc
DH;not text any of them today, stop being grumpy you
Me;It's taking a lot longer to have this conversation ... Would have been quicker to just say how your day was going don't you think
Me; Life lessons
DH; oh right
Me; That's right

Yes, you certainly sound annoying. Not particularly funny, though.

Peony01 · 25/05/2016 14:55

I guess that means I am being unreasonable then flogging , my DH will be chuckling to himself though ... Suppose it's hard to tell from his oh right but that's him finally getting I'm on a wind up..

OP posts:
Buzzardbird · 25/05/2016 14:56

...and now I'm annoyed too.

Favouritethings · 25/05/2016 14:58

Er ok.

ApricotSorbet99 · 25/05/2016 14:59

And you decided to bore the internet with this tedious exchange....why?

LillyVonSchtupp · 25/05/2016 14:59

You sound rather tiresome OP.

deVelvet · 25/05/2016 15:00

Eh?

TipBoov · 25/05/2016 15:02

You seem like you're proud of being so annoying?

Peony01 · 25/05/2016 15:02

Don't be buzzard it'll give you high blood pressure .... I can assure you my DH is very well treated, we always check on each other I just decided to be annoying to him today because that's our humour... I've just checked and he does think I'm a dick but in your such a dick you had me there for a minute way..

OP posts:
Peony01 · 25/05/2016 15:04

ThoraGruntwhistle · 25/05/2016 15:46

You can't be lighthearted in AIBU, people will just line up to give you a kicking for not being more interesting/controversial Smile

Ameliablue · 25/05/2016 15:46

Can't believe I wasted time reading this.

MrsTerryPratchett · 25/05/2016 15:52

You are lucky to have found someone who gets you. Enjoy. It would make me walk out with the clothes on my back. There's someone out there for everyone...

BitOutOfPractice · 25/05/2016 15:54

There's 2 minutes of my life I'll never get back

You don't consider yourself zany or wacky or kookie so you OP?

MangoBiscuit · 25/05/2016 15:59

Your OP made me smile Peony. It's the kind of (deathly boring to anyone else, but makes us chuckle) banter that I have with DH. Except we call each other cunt. Grin

TheNaze73 · 25/05/2016 15:59

2 things. Was the name change to Roger subliminal? It's always Roger....
Secondly, what is the actual point of this thread? He's doing nothing wrong

Peony01 · 25/05/2016 16:09

Thora..I get that now I'm a naive newby to this site but I will however take it as a life lesson (as I badly joked to my DH)
Mango..glad it made you smile...as it did me too..which is why while I had some time on my hands I posted it, but I know laughing at your own (bad) jokes is somewhat sad...whoops.
The Naze..it was...I thought it was always Dave not Roger..not point i was a little bored :S

Thank you all for posting even if i have completely wasted your time it was appreciated...thats me done now :)

OP I suggest you find a hobby or join Netmums - I bet they love this kind of shit on there!!!

TheNaze73 · 25/05/2016 16:33

Thanks for the clarity OP. Just for clarity, would you actually treat it as being ignored, if your partner didn't respond to a text?
