to go to this interview

Last year I retrained as a language teacher and whilst I've found some private work, I really want to teach classes at a language school. It's not easy to get a position with no experience.

Yesterday I was excited to be asked to come for an interview, but on researching the company I found out that part of its business is based on cold calling retired people and pressuring them to sign up for expensive computer courses.

I don't want to work for a morally questionable organisation but I need to get experience! AIBU to try to get the job?

Perhaps go to the interview and ask about the Cold Calling?

I find that going to interveiws, increases your interview passing skills.

You could treat the job as a stepping stone, if offered it.

Thanks, you're right, I should go for the interview experience.

I'm not too sure that the job will be a stepping stone. You will probably find it is virtually all sales, and that you are under pressure to meet unrealistic targets. If you don't meet them you'll be out. It's not necessarily great for your CV to show that you've been in a job a couple of months or less.
