To have a first world eye problem

I suspect I am, but please give me some advice anyway.

I have a weekend away this Friday & I'd like to look nice and like someone hasn't farted on my pillow.

My family had conjunctivitis last week, I narrowly avoided it or so I thought by being careful.

However, I've woken up today with a puffy red eye and yellow gunk, I'm fuming & have to try and fix this before FRIDAY. How?!

I'm going to the pharmacy to get antibiotic eye drops but is there anything else I can be doing to clear it up in 5 days SadSadSadSad

The eye drops will make a huge difference, especially if you start immediately - don't wait until Monday!

In between treatments, you could use warm black tea to reduce puffiness and inflammation. Just remember to idea fresh piece of cotton wool for each eye. You can do it as often as you like, but not immediately after the drops - I'd give it half an hour at least, to make sure you don't wash out the antibiotic.

Bathe with camomile tea,use a separate swab for each eye.

Okay, brilliant!
Getting the drops today (in the next half hour) and I'll pick up some tea bags too

I don't think me or DCS have ever had conjunctivitis where it hasn't looked better within 5 days.
