To go home

Have been sat for 30 minutes waiting for work colleagues for lunch in a pub an hour away from my house on the 8th month of maternity leave.
They changed the table to 12.45 and didn't tell me and they are still all nearly 20 minutes late.
AIBU to just go home? How can 7 people all be so late??!

I'd give them until 13.15 and then leave - how could they forget to tell you x

NoCapes · 21/05/2016 13:06

Yeah just go, go through a drive through on the way though

Julia2016 · 21/05/2016 13:06

Hate lateness with no contact to let you know. It's rude and says their time is more valuable than yours. I'd go away soon.

helenlove · 21/05/2016 13:06

It's because I'm on maternity leave so haven't seen them since Christmas.

But still!

Sounds like plans have changed and they've forgotten to tell you. Can you call someone?

SissySpacekAteMyHamster · 21/05/2016 13:09

That would pissed me right off and I would order something and eat anyway.

helenlove · 21/05/2016 13:09

The table is booked at 12.45 so I know I have the right day!

Surely they can't all be late, maybe it's been cancelled or moved venue? Can you message at least one of them?

I'd eat and then leave.

RaeSkywalker · 21/05/2016 13:11

Yeah, I'd leave I think.

SissySpacekAteMyHamster · 21/05/2016 16:19

Well? What time did they arrive?

helenlove · 21/05/2016 16:48

1.10.

They all appeared together (?!) and said the table was booked for 1.

They definitely told me 12.30!
