I know TAB is not usually ok...but in this case I feel I'm not getting personal so it's ok.

When you make a thread about a "conversation in song lyrics" what are the usual rules?

There's currently a thread like that in chat...but it's not a conversation.

People just seem to take an element from the previous poster's lyrics and then find something similar...like

POSTER A "Oh baby do you know what that's worth?:

POSTER B "Ooh baby, baby, where did our love go?"

POSTER C "Go on now go! Walk out the door!"

Which is not a conversation at all! It's boring!

I thought it was meant to go more like

"I was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, when I met you."

"I met him at the candy store..."

"Lies, lies, lies yeah...do I have to catch you out to know what's on your mind?:

And so forth...so the lyrics have to connect...to actually make a conversation!

YANBU, I thought the same, it's just a long list of random lyrics. Trouble with trying to have a convo in lyrics on a forum though is the inevitable morass of cross-posts.
