CBeebies I thought we'd riot over the NHS being sold off but I suppose CBeebies is a decent enough reason, I grew up on those shows, can't imagine a childhood without it

Commercial companies don't make much children's programming because its not commercially viable - particularly as more and more adverts are banned-so I don't think its likely to be sold off.

However if the BBC becomes a subscription service it might not be able to afford to make childrens programmes or those made will be less good quality

I thought cbeebies did very well out of flogging the programmes abroad?

The culture secretary better not have been having relationships with anyone else with a 'past' that would salaciate the red top paper then.
