To want to replace the seat part of my garden swing?

We are really broke and the seat on our beloved garden swing has perished. I've searched hundreds of websites to no avail. You can buy canopies for the top and cushions by the million, but not the pvc bit underneath that holds up the seat cushions. The best I have found is a sailmaker who will charge me £65. there must be a cheaper way surely? Anyone else have this issue?

Watching as ours is looking really manky too.

ours has a giant hole in the seat. I have patched it up with a groundsheet which I cut up, and hot glued it on. Not sure how long it will last. I think the material is polypropoline, so will google that and report back.

Born, I found it!!!Have been looking for weeks. The one in the picture on this link is exactly the same as our swing. However, it's £49 and Amazon sell a whole new swing for that (which has good reviews) so not sure what we will do, as we need the canopy as well,

There's these, although not a cheaper option as you'd need more than one .

Could you go to a local car scrap yard and buy a dozen seat belts and make a woven one using the original frame and a staple gun?
