I have seen this Biscuit being used In many threads but I don't understand why you would give someone a biscuit? I'm probably being a dumbass though

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 02/05/2016 19:42

It was in reference to the time Gordon Brown did a Web chat and was asked what his favourite biscuit was

Toffeecrispy · 02/05/2016 19:47

I don't know i'm newish but i know they are given to threads people consider goady.

TheTartOfAsgard · 02/05/2016 19:50

I thought it was to symbolise 'that takes the biscuit' when some one says something completely ridiculous/offensive/goady

twirlywoo69 · 02/05/2016 19:51

I thought it was giving a flower

VulcanWoman · 02/05/2016 19:51

The biscuit looks like it has more detailing on it now.

TheFuckersBitingMe · 02/05/2016 19:52

I always thought it was giving a biscuit for comfort, if an OP was having a bad day!

Can tell who among us eats a packet of digestives after a shitey day at work

MajesticSeaFlapFlap · 02/05/2016 19:52

I thought they were an arsehole emote

After a curry Shock

AuntieStella · 02/05/2016 19:54

It's "calm down and have a biscuit"

Not to be confused with " Bear anyone?"

ollieplimsoles · 02/05/2016 19:54

I give people a biscuit on here when they are being goady fuckers or massive bellends.

meditrina · 02/05/2016 19:59

Or a variant on Arfarfanarf it means: "I'm not sure I believe a word you say. Even on the off chance it's at least partly true, I really don't understand why it would bother anyational person"

For example, were any proffered on the 'portable potty in Peter Jones fabric department' thread?

troubleinstore · 02/05/2016 20:59

I thought it meant 'you doughnut' doh!

sepa · 03/05/2016 05:38

I also thought it was giving someone a Biscuit for comfort. I did see it on offensive threads so I thought they needed the Biscuit because people were going to be mean to the OP, but then saw posts where people are telling the OP to do one the give them a Biscuit

I have only seen it in AIBU threads

OP posts:
BumWad · 03/05/2016 05:41

It looks like a cherry rock cake to me

irrelevant

MardleBum · 03/05/2016 06:04

I don't really fully understand why it happened, but it has become the standard passive aggressive response to a thread where people think that the OP is talking such utter bollocks that they don't even warrant and proper response.

MardleBum · 03/05/2016 06:04

a proper response

TheSquashyHatOfMrGnosspelius · 03/05/2016 06:37

To me it's, 'Have a biscuit, now fuck off!' It's a message to goady and asshole posters.

pictish · 03/05/2016 06:42

I always thought it was a biscuit as in "that takes the...."

mynamesnotMa · 03/05/2016 06:45

I thought it was it takes the biscuit. Personally would prefer that than flowers.

Chippednailvarnish · 03/05/2016 06:47

BiscuitBiscuit

Boobs

Sighing · 03/05/2016 06:47

I thought 'that takes the biscuit'. But also 'shove this in your overactive face, you're embarrassing yourself'.

FruStefanOla · 03/05/2016 06:53

Slightly at a tangent, but I think it's supposed to look like a Jammy Dodger.

twirlywoo69, there is a flowers smiley too Flowers

AuntieStella · 03/05/2016 06:54

Biscuit Biscuit
