To dress up dd for disney on ice?

We are going to disney on ice the silver anniversary, she loves tinkerbell but i cant find any outfits anywhere. I dont want to dress her up and shes the only one or do lots of children go dressed up? If i dont dress her up she'll get upset that she has no dress on so should i?

Loads of kids dress up. We are going for the second time soon and DD will be Elsa.

When we went it didn't even occur to me to dress the kids up. Bloody millions of flammable Elsas all over the shop though. They didn't notice or care; I suppose it depends on her age.

We were at Wembley a couple of weeks ago & Dd dressed up as Anna. Tons of younger ones dressed up. Tinkerbell is great idea - despite her frozen obsession dd's fave part was Peter pan

We went along with around 2,000 Anna's and Elsa's.

Ds and I went on Saturday loads of little girls were dressed up not so much the boys which was a shame but he loved it

We also went a couple of weeks ago, we had an Elsa with us and the place was awash with other Elsa's, Anna's and Tinkerbells. Even some of the adults were dressed up - which was possibly pushing it a bit too far ......Grin

Yip, I was there with one of the 2000 Elsa's last year! Grin. I was holding onto her tightly scared she would wander off and it would be like a real life where's Wally Elsa!

It's great though, much better than I expected!

We had a Rapunzel and a Sleeping Beauty with us. We drove from Birmingham to Scotland that afternoon and the mountain rescue people collecting outside Tebay services in the Lake District were a tad bemused.
We put the £10 I refused to spend on a lurid slush puppy and 1/4 full popcorn bucket in their collecting tin. Felt like a real 2 fingers up to money grabbing Disney Grin

The only tinkerbell dress i can find is in the disney store and its £30 Shock the princess and the frog is really nice and it looks similar could i get away with it? Grin i have a harness so she cant run away but i will be keeping a tight hold of her

Presidentcjcregg my dd would cry if she seen everyone in 'pretty dresses' and she was dressed in leggings and a t shirt (comfort) Grin

Summersazz i phoned the venue a couple of days ago and asked if we could take in snacks and cartons of juice and we're allowed i dont want to spend more than i have to, i heard it costs a fortune (not spending money on food she wont eat)

Have a look on Amazon. They have a Tinkerbell dress for £12 aged3-4.

Amy we took drinks and snacks too. I never asked though. Google the price of some of the tat on sale afterwards and you'll be Shock.

It is absolutely brilliant (well, was 3 years ago!) so have fun 😊

So many kids dress up! I always get there and think oh I should have dressed mine in costumes too. Hope your dd enjoys the show, the Peter Pan and tinker bell bit is fab

My tips are:
kids dress up (I bring their dresses in a bag and they throw them over their leggings/top when we get inside).
Go to the poundshop and get some treats (we brought in our own candy floss, some M&M and some gummy worms)
I also get mine a cheapy glow in the dark wand thing from the poundshop or sometimes toys r us has flashing things, adds to their fun and only costs me $2 instead of $25 ;)

Loads of people dress up.
But even if they didn't - why worry about being the only one?
Who cares what others do?
If she wants to and it makes her happy - just dress up.

Cabrinha ive ordered her dress and it should be here by friday i know she'll love it she probably wont want to take it off just like her witch dress at halloween (3days in a row she wanted it on) Blush

Oobedobe ill have a look in poundland for some flashy things and some snacks (cant forget my own Wink )
