To be devastated Hulu cancelled Coronation Street in the US?

Ok devastated might be a bit strong. I'm just incredulous that it only being on Hulu three years they have cancelled all new episodes! I have hung in there specifically to find out how they are going to find Collum.

There are no other stations that carry it...or at least that I can access.
I'm just so let down by it. It was my one guilty pleasure.

MrsJayy · 22/04/2016 20:51

Daft question can you not watch on the ITV Hub in America its a shame you are missing your corrie,

Iwantmymaidennameback · 22/04/2016 20:51

Lucky you.....wish they'd take it off our TVs over here.

It's awful just now - you'll be missing NOTHING!

Thisismyalias · 22/04/2016 20:57

Get a vpn and watch itv

VimFuego101 · 22/04/2016 20:58

Yep, VPN and ITV player. Or doesn't PBS show it?

AristotlesTrousers · 22/04/2016 20:59

YANBU OP. Corrie is by far the best UK soap.

TowerRavenSeven · 22/04/2016 21:09

Everywhere I go to watch it ITV, BBC, etc. tells me I'm geographically restricted!

SquinkiesRule · 22/04/2016 21:32

I used to watch it on youtube. The people uploading it to you tube had to keep changing the name as they'd get blocked. Last time I watched from the US it was under Corrie and the year but do a search on their and then save, they used to put it up on the same day it aired in UK

BillThePony · 22/04/2016 21:37

I have the tunnel bear vpn and can always access itv, BBC and 4Od in the States.

LittleMissBossyBoots · 22/04/2016 21:39

Install Google Chrome as your browser (free).

Install Hola onto Google Chrome (free).

Use Hola to set your location to UK and watch it on ITV.

TowerRavenSeven · 22/04/2016 23:35

Thank you, I'm going to try these suggestions!

VimFuego101 · 22/04/2016 23:37

A VPN will fake your location so it looks like you're in the UK. I've heard good things about tunnel bear.

BeALert · 23/04/2016 00:52

How are you surviving being in the US without either SmartDNS or a VPN so that you can watch British telly?

We got rid of cable years ago and just use BBC iplayer, ITV player, Channel 4 OD, and then stuff like Netflix.

SmartDNS is better than VPN btw.

barkingfly · 23/04/2016 01:30

Tower, I suggest Tunnelbear. I keep up with the soaps that way. Hola is not as safe. Tunnelbear is 50 USD a year.

CarsonTheButler · 23/04/2016 01:32

I would go mad from television boredom if it wasn't for the VPN.

LittleMissBossyBoots · 23/04/2016 08:18

Hola is not as safe.

How so? Genuine question from someone who uses it every day but is less tech savvy than the cat.
