To fly Ryanair Business Plus?

Is it worth it? By the time we've paid for 2 large bags (going for 2 weeks and doing a variety of activities, not just bikini for beach...) and paid to select seats together, it works out not very much more to 'upgrade' to business plus, which promises:

"A bigger, 20kg checked bag
FREE airport check-in
Premium Seat (subject to seat availability)
Priority Boarding*
airport FastTrack security service (at participating airports)
SMS flight details
Flexibility on ticket changes"

Is this a reasonable idea, or is the reality it's still really awful and they mess you around? Anyone got any experience with this?

No experience yet but i've been thinking the same. I think in the end it works out about the same and actually the deal is not that great (e.g. seats with more leg room are unavailable to you if you're flying with a baby as those are emergency exit seats; i think the flexibility in ticket changes comes with some silly condition (wasnt it 'changes on the day' or some such?)).
Also, i think if you dont need all passengers to have 20kg (e.g. my 6 year old def doesnt need that) then you will be paying slightly more with Business Plus...

I always do, yes it works out slightly cheaper plus it takes away all the horrible bits of flying economy. Including priority check in, priority security lane and not having to worry about printing everything off in advance. It's almost as nice as the old days! Plus last time we extended our holiday by another week whilst out there and it was free!

And 'Free airport check-in' - wtf is that? Whatever it is it's not free because you have paid for it buying Business Plus package!

We've just book exactly that. It cost £2 more than booking the cheapest ticket and adding a bag each. For £2 I'll take the extras.
