Live in a cul-de-sac of around 20 houses. All around 15 years old. 3 have, over the past year or so, had woodburners installed. None of the houses have chimneys, so they've had to have horrible metal tubes put up the sides/through the garage roof of their houses for the flues. Looks like a street of Chinese takeaways.
It's been a dry and breezy day today - first one for a week or so. I was chuffed to get 4 loads of washing done and out on the line. Went to bring it in at 6pm and can smell smoke. 2 of the 3 have their burners going. Fuckers
The lack of chimneys means the rest of us have vented bricks in living rooms. So our houses get to smell of smoke when the fuckwits start their fires up.
