To think this is a bit cheeky?

I'm looking for a house for lovely MIL to rent.

After fruitless searches on rightmove
I asked on a local Facebook sight.

I had a few replies and the last person to reply told me that she had a cottage to rent.

Within 5 minutes, before I'd had a chance to reply, someone else was asking her for the details.

I thought it was a tad cheeky....

No that's totally normal, I'd do the same, you can't hang around in a renters world.

Totally annoying on your post, obviously, you can feel pissed off but in a reverse would you do the same?

Renting and housebuying is a nightmare. You have to be practically psychic. You jump on any chance you see.
