To ask for help choosing between pizza and chinese for dinner?

Can't decide what I want. Help!

Pizza.

I've just ordered Domino's, so I'd say pizza!

Takeaway pizza is always so disappointing. As you're ordering, I'll have salt and chilli squid, duck pancakes, crispy chilli beef, thin plain noodles, mixed starter thingy, and anything else you fancy
I only eat a spoonful of each thing so feel free to share.
I'd always go with a variety - you don't get that with a pizza.
Hurry up and order, I'm hungry!

The children and I would want Chinese. But DH would want pizza.

To help us decide: what would you order from each of the options?

I'm very boring! So do not use my suggestions, but just to join in
Chinese: egg fried rice, plain noodles, veg spring rolls. (OK sauce if I'm feeling like living dangerously)

Pizza: margherita

told you it was boring, and yes from an Indian I do get a korma...
DP is slightly more adventurous, from the Chinese it's chicken fried rice and chips, pizza it's meat feast.

If I get pizza, it'll be a large pizza wth double cheese, chicken, sweetcorn and mushrooms, and 8 bbq chicken wings. If I go and get it it's £8 cheaper and I don't get two cans of pop that I don't particularly want, but I can't pre-order so I'd have to wait there while they make it.

Chinese would be chicken & sweetcorn soup, won ton soup, KP w/ginger, spring onion & mushrooms & KP fried rice. Free delivery. Same price as the pizza would be if I go and get it, cheaper if I order pizza online

I read people getting things like squid etc and feel like I'm missing out on life with my measly little noodles

To clarify:
Pizza if delivered: £19.95. Includes two surplus-to-requirement cans of fizzy drink & £2 delivery charge. But I can order it online.
Pizza if I go and get it: about £12. But I'd have to wait in the takeaway as I can't preorder, and carry it home. Nightmare

Chinese: about £13, free delivery

This thread has just made me order Chinese I got a mixed starter (satay chicken, ribs, seaweed and dumplings) crispy duck and pancakes, special fried noodles, roast pork belly and cashew nuts (best thing ever), salt and pepper chips and chicken balls.

Been on this bloody meal replacement thing for a week - 600 cals a day - so this is long overdue and will probably be the best Chinese I've ever eaten go Chinese OP!

I've spent the last hour and a half mulling this over and am no closer to deciding. And now I'm actually starting to feel hungry.

Takeaway pizza are awful imo. They are the most madly overpriced things as well. It's dough and a few scraps of topping. And I wouldn't touch the bbq wings tries to put OP off

I don't eat takeaway pizza as I find it really bloating, can only eat 3 pieces at the most and every bite tastes the same.
Chinese wins every time for the variety of dishes you can order.
I might go and see if dp wants to order a Chinese now actually!

I'm not a fan of Chinese so I'd say pizza. But I'm a bit of a pizza snob, can't stand dominoes/pizza hut type pizzas. I like woodfired pizza's, if you have a local woodfire delivery it's a winner now im hungry

Chinese definitely.

Both the pizza and the Chinese are really good. If I order the Chinese I'll have both the soups and half the main & rice straightaway and leftovers at some later point. If I get pizza I'll have half the pizza/chicken wings straight away, leftovers as before.

Chinese, no question! Pizza is mainly bread and tomato...

Pizza 🍕 just had dominoes.

I'm now so hungry that I physically don't have the energy to go and get the pizza, and you get more food for your money with the Chinese. Also ordered DP a beef curry and egg fried rice.

My own fault. He's poorly today and asked an hour ago if I wanted to order something in or if I wanted him to make something. I said no as I wasn't that bothered about eating, had a late lunch.
Now I'm bloody hungry!
