escape proof reins for 3yo

tryin again, I posted similar question last week but had little response...
have a 3yo who accepts and fetches his reins every time we go out but has recently learned to escape and take them off. friend has suggested the old leather ones were the straps cross at the back? any suggestions what ones to get?

Trunki reins might be good. Or, as your friend suggests, old style leather ones. Or clip the reign to his belt on his trousers.

My 2.11 find a little life rucksack impossible to escape from.

Tighten them , they are much too loose and far too low down .

thanks, they always start higher. its just when I leave them on him in the park he just pulls the shoulder straps over and takes them off, just want him to learn that mummy decides when theyre off

I can't help, as mine soon learnt that Mummy decides they had to hold my hand

thanks girls, I like the look of the explora betty. I'm going to look around the local car boot rather than buying another new set for possibly just a few weeks, ill maybe find one of the old leather types my friend was on about - being more babyish they will maybe frighten him into not running off as much

There are quite a few on eBay for 99p plus postage.
