To not hate words like

Moist
Flaccid
Gusset

etc?

I actually like those words.

I like most words. I only dislike meanings of words.

But in Mumsnetland that seems to make me weird and forrin.

Nah, I'm with you. Even words like cunt don't bother me.

It's a bit like in Harry Potter, they give power to the word Voldemort by not saying it. With the exception of the last book where it had a specific curse on it.

Gatehouse77 You're post should have come with a spoiler alert! Shock

Actually I don't care Grin

AdrenalineFudge · 31/03/2016 11:45

your clearly I also don't care about grammar Hmm

Cunt is fine when it refers to that part of the body. I hate it as an obscenity, because I feel it demeans women.

I usually ignore "AIBU to hate Xyz word?" threads, but from now on I think I might just post the one word: Voldemort. The verbal equivalent of Biscuit

Grin
