Disclaimer FB based.. I wake up and each morning browse FB. This morning it shows me a post my friends have liked. A lady had posted to ant and decs saturday night takeaway page saying she loves the show but didnt like aeeing her husband on it on the arm of his ex lover who clearly isnt his ex. 15 YO daughter watching and in bits.

From reading seems that he was on one of the hidden camera type bits and otherscommented he looked miserable.. we know why now as he had told his family he was in dubai.

I thought finding a crude message and discover my XH cheating was bad but national tv..of course being public she is now facing attention she probably hadnt planned for (weve all written things or reacted without fully thinking right?) And comment like two sides to every story... which really pisses me off although thats probably cos of my own past.

Anyway Aibu in thinking that would take some topping as an 'outing'?!
I genuinely dont believe the arrogance of most cheaters. Its horrid.

It might not be true, sounds like a wind up to me.

MsFiestyPants · 27/03/2016 10:40

I did wonder as I didnt watch it, surname was gundy if that confirms it for anyone?

If it is true what a bloody shit

I have just seen it on fb too, it is sad .

Minisoksmakehardwork · 27/03/2016 10:58

I've seen that same fb post. Unfortunately I think the slighted wife doesn't come off much better. If she had made her own status about her cheating husband and a friend had shared it, then she would be less culpable. But she's commented on a public page and included her daughter being devastated. So now, whether her daughter wants it or not, she's been dragged into a very public shaming and the breakdown of her family. It's not just her dad now who will get slated for being a twat and getting caught out in an undeniable fashion, but her mum too is and will continue to be slated for airing her dirty laundry in public.

I know the wife is understandably hugely angry at her husband and will want to see him cut down. But imo she needs to be the bigger person and protect her daughter.

Even if she hadn't brought it to the general publics attention, there are surely others they know who would be asking if it were their husband/dad/ even a friend they recognised.

Eminybob · 27/03/2016 11:05

I saw this this morning too.
My first though was why post it on the Ant and Dec page? It's not like it's their fault.
I'm not a fan of airing dirty laundry on Facebook though. (Although I'm sure people have their issues with me posting pictures of DS, so hey ho)

Buzzardbird · 27/03/2016 11:07

these are usually fabricated.

Buzzardbird · 27/03/2016 11:14

A quick look at her profile is very telling

MsFiestyPants · 27/03/2016 11:18

I can see it as reactionary, although it wouldnt be my reaction. What a shitty situation.

Off to find it now!

ClopySow · 27/03/2016 11:27

I can't find it

Blink1982 · 27/03/2016 11:35

I can't either. I went on their normal page and there's visitor posts of his face in the audience but not his wife's post.

bornwithaplasticspoon · 27/03/2016 11:46

If you google 'Daniel Helen Gundry' the post is in the results

Needfinsnow · 27/03/2016 11:49

Just seen something and apparently it's been taken down, will find the link..has a screenshot of the ladies post x

Chillyegg · 27/03/2016 11:50

To be honest I think it's what the shit head deserved!
I think it's cruel though that everyone is saying the wedding was embarrassing!

WorraLiberty · 27/03/2016 12:03

What did she expect Ant & Dec to do about it? Confused

Blink1982 · 27/03/2016 12:10

It is weird how she went about it. Posting to make him feel crap and expose him is fair enough but the way she went on sounds like how you would complain to a shop about a dodgy purchase and u were trying to get compensation.

tinyterrors · 27/03/2016 12:53

I saw the post but it sounds dodgy. She said they have a 15 year old daughter but the husband was with the woman he's supposed to have ended it with a year ago. So the woman who posted it either split with her husband and got back together or he was cheating before and didn't end it when he said he did.

Either way it's a horrible thing to do to her daughter, assuming it's real, it's bad enough seeing her dad with someone else on TV but to have all her friends finding out on FB.

sparkle58 · 27/03/2016 16:48

They split a while back because he was cheating on her with this woman but they still remained married and got back together last year after he swore the affair was over and had stopped seeing her. But he continued to work in Dubai and that's where she thought he was until he appeared on Ant and Dec last night!

vienaa · 27/03/2016 22:03

I saw it this morning too, the daughter told her to post it on social media.. Looking at the profile pages earlier the other wife has picture of the wedding on a beach with this Daniel Gundry, date August 2014 but now has gone all private but I saw a picture on his daughter FB page her and her mum in Dubai May 2014.... I believe Helen, why has he gone hiding, ,if he is divorce just show the divorce papers and that will be the end of it. I would want to put a stop to it if it was me.

LittleRedSparke · 27/03/2016 22:31

he or someone on his side claims they are divorced and she is not his wife

i think i read he was married to someone else?

Gail1901 · 28/03/2016 07:05

How easy we jump on the bandwagon without knowing all the facts......this story is one of a woman scorned, they are divorced. What concerns me is her lack of thought for her poor daughter, this story has had national coverage in the uk!

Whatever Helen's beef is with her ex, deal with it privately and not in the glare of the public spotlight for all concerned!!

curren · 28/03/2016 07:19

One of dh friend was a lottery game show. The one where if you won this week you went on holiday and played from the destination the next week. If you won again, you went on another holiday for a week and played again and so forth.

A woman came forward claiming to be his wife who knew nothing about the woman he was travelling and playing the game with.

It was bollocks they had split four years before and the woman he was with was not the OW, they were getting married.

Personally I tend not to believe stuff like this, because of that, at least until more info is out.

And tbh I don't care if her dd told her to post it Facebook. A 15 year old doesn't always make the best decisions. It's should have been the mother that made the right choice. This hasn't helped anyone and I feel her dd will regret it. Especially if it's not quite as she says.

If it turns out the 'wife' is in fact lying I would also suspect she is trying to poison her dds mind and pitch her against her father.

It might be as she says, but I suspect not.

curren · 28/03/2016 07:23

A spokesman for ITV said he has spoken to the man who has been married to the woman on the show for 2 years and left Helen six years ago.

Georgiegirl62 · 28/03/2016 21:16

I have been reliably informed this isn't true. He divorced the ed, Helen 6 years ago. He remarried Sue, 2 years ago and has lived in Dubai last 2 years. She is bitter and stops her daughter having contact with her father and his family also
