To cut off dh's feet?

Or throw away all of his socks?

Moved a month ago.
He wanted cream carpet in the bedroom.
I didn't want to. 1. DS is only 18 months, something is going to happen to it. 2. DH sock fluff drives me up the wall and I didn't want to have to be on my hands and knees scrubbing the floor with the Hoover to get it off.
He assured me it'll be fine.
Everysinglefuckingday the carpet is like this.

So I'm allowed to cut his feet off right?

On a more serious note, I refuse to hoover in there now, that's his job. He doesn't know this yet but will when he gets in later.

And can anyone recommend any thick socks for work boots that don't dissolve all over my carpets?! ponders if they sell cream work boot socks then I can live in ignorant bliss

To cut off dh's feet?

Yanbu.

I cannot abide sock fluff.

Birdie85 · 11/03/2016 11:35

Make him wear slippers! It's bloody annoying!!

fieldfare · 11/03/2016 11:40

Wash and tumble dry the socks inside out. Dh got some new sports socks that did this exact thing. Annoyed me no end!
Yanbu. Make him Hoover it!

RJnomore1 · 11/03/2016 11:41

Slippers!

averylongtimeago · 11/03/2016 11:52

Make him wear cream socks then you won't see the fluff?

GreatFuckability · 11/03/2016 11:54

I think yabu.
Cutting off his feet isn't enough. Id kill him.

Socks must now go on and off in the hall, not the bedroom? Get a little toxic sock laundry basket for him to chuck them into until he washes them.

I feel the same way about DH's shoe insoles. Wear them by all means, but don't leave them lying around the house while they dry out and de-pong.
