Dawndonnaagain · 06/03/2016 11:08

WTAF! I'd unfriend anyone who put that up on my wall.

BankWadger · 06/03/2016 11:08

Buzzardbird · 06/03/2016 11:08

PrettyBrightFireflies · 06/03/2016 11:10

Yuck. Defriend, unfollow and ignore.

gamerchick · 06/03/2016 11:12

It's supposed to be a joke. Like millions of others.

It isn't funny, it's bad taste but not worth getting chewed up over.

Patapouf · 06/03/2016 11:13

Fucking horrendous YANBU

chelle792 · 06/03/2016 11:13

I've been in therapy two years finding my voice after forgetting I have one with my ex.

My poor dh does get a lot of flack as I'm still learning to both express and control my emotions but he would never tell me to stop. never being permitted to have emotions fucks you up big time

chelle792 · 06/03/2016 11:13

Ah gamer I'm really not bothered but it just seems stupid. I don't get het up over much

SleepyBoBo · 06/03/2016 11:15

gamerchick - I can have a giggle at a 'nagging wife' joke, however, that one has quite a nasty undertone to it. I wouldn't be impressed if a friend posted that, though I don't think I'd unfriend. A good friend I'd say something to be honest.

GastonsPomPomWrath · 06/03/2016 11:16

My abusive ex shared this on Facebook.

People actually congratulated him on the 'joke'

NeedACleverNN · 06/03/2016 11:22

It's pretty poor taste but not worth getting wound up for.

NOT a good message for abusive marriages though

FingerOFudge · 06/03/2016 11:27

horrible reactionary shite. We've moved beyond this (and MIL jokes) I would hope.

TheStoic · 06/03/2016 11:28

Reminds me of the family photo that recently went viral, where the females' mouths were taped shut.

Hahahahaha so hilarious. Hmm

Stanky · 06/03/2016 11:30

I've heard this joke told at work....a few times. I just rolled my eyes. It's not funny, but I never take a joke seriously any way. I've laughed at some sick jokes in my time. I sometimes watch Frankie Boyle when I want to hear sick jokes.

sooperdooper · 06/03/2016 11:30

Ugh not funny

But why the hell are you friends on FB with your abusive ex GastonsPomPomWrath?? (Misses point of thread...,,)

Hennifer · 06/03/2016 11:34

Just more facile crap from facebook.

Samcro · 06/03/2016 11:36

wow that is not funny

DowntonIsMyHome · 06/03/2016 11:40

ignoring things like this maintains the societal ignoring of domestic abuse.

it IS A horrific poster.

if it didn't say "I'm scared" it would be a "typical" nagging joke but adding fear takes it one step further.

awful Angry

GastonsPomPomWrath · 06/03/2016 11:40

I'm not sooper. It's a complicated set of circs but lets just say its been brought to my attention by a third party.

WhatALoadOfOldBollocks · 06/03/2016 11:41

YANBU. Sad that we don't appear to moving beyond this sort of shite quick enough Sad
