Just seen this on a Facebook selling page advertising for a local tattoo shop. AIBU to think there's something a bit weird and icky about adult siblings getting tattoos proclaiming each other their sibling's "keeper" and "protector"? It would put me off getting involved with a man who had that tattoo.

I like how the writing isn't even joined up which makes the infinity symbol somewhat redundant.

Well, they are both missing an apostrophe which bothers me. I find the roles they have ascribed each other inappropriate but each to his/her own.

Def a good early warning sign. I was a year into a relationship with a man before I met his mother, who (a) held his hand (b) told me she wished he & his sister could marry each other so that no strangers ever came into the family. That's a year of my life I could have had back if he'd been inked.

oh yes, a very helpful warning sign. Family to be avoided there. So much easier than finding that out after you have emotionally invested in the relationship.

I wouldn't date someone with that tattooed on them.
