Ds2 will be 8 weeks old on Monday and half of my family haven't even bothered to ask about him let alone come to see him. When ds1 was born (18 months ago) everyone made an effort and I suppose I was expecting the same for ds2. If we weren't usually a close family I don't think I would be as bothered. Even if they've been busy surely they could take 2 minutes out of their day to call or send a text to ask about him and how he's doing? Aibu? I guess I'm just a bit disappointed.

YANBU
However, maybe they're just giving you space to adjust to your new arrival? Can you invite them round?
Congratulations** Thanks

They're usually in your face type of people though, when ds1 was born they turned up the day we came out of hospital!

Any chance they've learnt from that?
Honestly, if you're a close family just talk to them and tell them how you feel.

YANBU, it felt like people were avoiding me too, probably trying to avoid helping out with the older one!! Angry
