Dishwasher war stalemate

We are currently sharing a kitchen with pil. We do our food shopping, they do theirs and we cook separately. They eat late, no breakfast and it works well.

Except they do no washing up. I have said several times if they put dirty stuff straight in the dishwasher I will unload it. It gets left on the side.

I've not moved their bits since Monday. There is a pile next to the sink. Fucking rank.

I know I'm childish but they are unreasonable to not keep their shit clean aren't they?

Just going to ask, are you living with the PIL or are they living with you? Because that's going to be a key factor on who is BU here!!

Yes they are being unreasonable. I would find living like this hugely irritating. But I suspect the only way this will ever cease to be an issue will be when you no longer have to share a kitchen with them. Focus ALL your energies on making that happen ASAP.
