Actually I do think that Paul Newman probably IS the most handsome man ever but that doesn't necessarily mean the sexiest.

I do admire Idris. But I googled his dob and was shocked at how young he is. Do you think the grey in his beard is a bit ageing? How incredibly hypocritical of me to say that!

That's the problem with getting older. I find my idea of peak good-looking is around the early to mid 30s and I'm moving further and further away from that.

Well, this thread has cheered up my evening. Here's a few that haven't been mentioned yet.

Apples you get from me for posting the delectable Doyle. Bodie was one of my very first crushes, but when I watched The Professionals again as an adult it was 'well helloooooooooo Doyle!'. I've always been rather partial to John Nettles as Bergerac, too. And John Thaw is his later years.

YY to young John Cusack. Especially in Grosse Point Blank. And Benedict Cumberbatch is delicious.

A lot of these men are not classically handsome, though - the classically handsome ones don't necessarily appeal to me. Often I'll find an actor very attractive in one role but not at all otherwise. Russell Crowe was pant wettingly gorgeous in Gladiator, but is a horrible oaf in actuality and I don't find him attractive in any other role.
