AIBU to ask for my carpets to be cleaned again?

I had my carpets professionally cleaned yesterday morning and they are still damp. I've read that this is extremely rare and that mould can grow in this time? AIBU to ask the company to clean them again?

Well, they're not needing cleaned again yet. So I wouldn't. It's pointless.

Have you turned your heating on to help dry them out?

Yeah but they're still damp. I'm worried about mould growth as I have a toddler who will spend most of her time on the floor.

If your carpets are wool it will take a lot longer than the 12 hours they quote - mine took a couple of days! No mould though- don't worry.

They're dry now thanks to the wind
