To wonder why the mums on here seem so angry?

Just that, really.

Because people tend not to post about things they don't have a strong opinion about perhaps?

BigEasy · 28/01/2016 12:39

YABU

Gazelda · 28/01/2016 12:39

Not possible to answer that question. Maybe they are being ill treated, have been given a bad haircut, have witnessed animal cruelty.... A million different explanations.

TheSpottedZebra · 28/01/2016 12:39

Have you any examples?

LovelyBath · 28/01/2016 12:39

I mean, over relatively minor things?

Coz we just fucking are right! Now fuck off!

Akire · 28/01/2016 12:40

You seem angry that people get angry myself!

PurpleDaisies · 28/01/2016 12:40

That's such a broad question it's pretty much impossible to answer. Do you have any specific examples?

LovelyBath · 28/01/2016 12:42

Well, just the things seem pretty minor to get that het up about.

I think that's probably just life isn't it? People get annoyed about stuff that doesn't really matter all the time. It isn't just confined to mumsnet posters (who aren't all mums).

Something pretty minor that makes someon angry may just be a snapshot of the OPs life. There may be a heck of a lot of other stuff going on, that makes the minor issue seem like 'the final straw'.

Pootles2010 · 28/01/2016 12:45

Maybe its because people being vague gives them the rage?

knackeredknees · 28/01/2016 12:45

I know where you're coming from OP. So many thread titles with the word Livid, Furious, Incandescent - must be bloody exhausting to get angry over daft little things.

ItMustBeBedtimeSurely · 28/01/2016 12:45

Because we're screeching harridans who haven't yet learnt that ladies don't get cross.

LovelyBath · 28/01/2016 12:46

I read about something called Low Frustration Tolerance. It is where you are generally stressed so that you kind of take it out on small things... I wonder if that might apply to most mums...

Dawn you forgot because they wear their PJ's to school drop off

LovelyBath · 28/01/2016 12:47

I mean, I tend to let it out on the children's toys when they're at school but maybe for some it's on here..Smile

PurpleDaisies · 28/01/2016 12:47

I think typing something to an anonymous forum gives you the freedom to say all sorts of things that you'd never dream of saying in real life. That might be why some people seem so angry.

PurpleDaisies · 28/01/2016 12:47

Cross posted with you op!

paxillin · 28/01/2016 12:47

I get angry about sweeping statements about "mums one here". People vary, even mums.

HairyLittleCarrot · 28/01/2016 12:47

Because we're a nest of vipers.

Duh.

VaginaRecliner · 28/01/2016 12:47

It'll be because they didn't get lavish push presents nae doot

Hihohoho1 · 28/01/2016 12:48
