DANGEROUS Yeo Valley yogurt pots

Albie20 · 08/01/2016 12:05

Hello everyone. Firstly let me introduce myself. My name is Denise, and I am a grandmother of three. I have registered with the site today, to warn parents of the hidden dangers of Yeo Valley yogurt pots. I use the word hidden, as after having contacted them about a serious cut to my grandsons tongue at Xmas, they wrote back and said they was aware of the situation with the sharp pots, but still have no intention of putting a warning on the packages. They then had the audacity to send me £2 in vouchers as a way of an apology! My 3 year old grandson simply licked the pot like children do. The problem is the extremely sharp plastic that's there once the pots are separated. This is clearly a case of putting profits before the welfare of their customers. SHAME ON YOU YEO VALLEY!

shiny that it's amazing GrinGrin

SweetSuz · 08/01/2016 14:51

Disgusted by the scathing, sarcastic, nasty tone of most of these comments- this is only a caring grandma just coming on here trying to spread the word after seeing her precious grandson hurt by something. A few comments responding you didn't feel Yeo Valley were at fault would've been enough.

But you all have far too much time on your hands so have continued to scorn and poke fun at her for 11 pages on this thread? Even going to the bother of creating your own yoghurt pot with post-it and photographing it? Starting a new thread?!! How sad you are.

Asskicker · 08/01/2016 14:52

There's a new thread?

Can you link it? Wink

Asskicker · 08/01/2016 14:53

Ah it's ok, I found it Grin

shinynewusername · 08/01/2016 14:53

Hiya, sweetsuz - well done on working out how to NC, even though you only registered today.

BitOutOfPractice · 08/01/2016 14:53

Oh this is today's thread that keeps on giving isn't it?

Magickal · 08/01/2016 14:53

Albie20, thank you for the warning. I actually have 2 big pots of Yeo Valley in the fridge. Well, 3 but the Raspberry is out of date. I don't think I have ever licked a yoghurt pot but it is good to be warned. Thank you for the public service announcement. The world needs more people like you.

SweetSuz · 08/01/2016 14:54

good, waste more of the clear too much time you have on your hands. Or how about sit down and watch some CBEEBIES, its clearly aimed at most of your age groups!

magimedi · 08/01/2016 14:55

Odd first couple of posts, SweetSuz.

SweetSuz · 08/01/2016 14:55

oh shiny well done on being so sad you took the time to look me up! Clap clap, well done, big gold star for you.

WineOrSleep · 08/01/2016 14:56
Grin

Oh this is Brilliant. I can't believe the op actually registered just to post this

Diggum · 08/01/2016 14:57

Grin This is great.

SweetSuz · 08/01/2016 14:58

Odd am I? For being stunned and appalled at the pathetic nature of you all literally bullying, mocking, poking fun at this grandmother for 12 pages?? So I am odd for daring to tell you how sad and pathetic you all seem? Fine- I'll take that as odd over how truly weird and sad your behaviour is any day. Most of you are mums and bringing up your kids with such a lack of decency, goodwill and kindness.

SweetSuz · 08/01/2016 14:59

Sorry to disappoint, I'm not OP. I just knew you would all jump on me too hence why re-registered. I also thought her 1st post was bit OTT but just left it at that, can not believe you are still here 12 pages later, you are all deeply sad! You cant even see it.

incywincybitofa · 08/01/2016 14:59

Maybe you should get the yogurt tubes next time?
I would say you sound a bit PFB about the whole thing, but you have raised at least one child I assume not in bubble wrap and spoon fed and you have 3 grandchildren you must know that stuff happens-and that there are lots of reasons why they shouldn't lick the pot, between good manners, and the danger of slashing your tongue there are enough reasons for them not to do it.

Gruntfuttock · 08/01/2016 15:00

Unfair to single out Yeo Valley. How do you know the same doesn't apply to other brands? You need to get your grandchild to lick the broken edges of other brands of yogurt pot. Who knows how many vouchers you may end up with?

GaryGilmoresEyes · 08/01/2016 15:01

I once got a carrot stuck up my nose.
