What do they smell of? What does the shop sell?

catfordbetty · 31/12/2015 14:38

Close early?

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 31/12/2015 14:40

Is there anyone you can send for air freshener?

I think statistically, a cold shop reduces sales, and makes people leaves faster, but a smelly shop probably doesn't make people feel like hanging around either...

Gileswithachainsaw · 31/12/2015 15:01

fags and general musty smell.

someone dropped their cargo in the loo and it stinks so much I think they need a dr.

oh and fart. lots of fart.

we have air fresher but not the air spray kind I used it all up. it's the febreeze kind I have left now.

Shut up shop and go home early.

Fags and farts...bleurgh.

Gruntfuttock · 31/12/2015 15:04

Can you close? Then go out and get some Oust. Are there any windows you can safely leave open while you're out?

dannydyerismydad · 31/12/2015 15:06

Do you work in customer returns in M&S?

I was in there earlier and the desk is right by the loos. It was bad enough queuing in the poo cloud. I felt so sorry for the staff working all day in it.

frikadela01 · 31/12/2015 15:06

I used to hate when I worked in a shop and people came in from the rain and had just been smoking... that horrible wet fag smell used to linger for ages (not a dig at smokers btw, i used to be one) If it was my business I'd close.

Gileswithachainsaw · 31/12/2015 15:12

Not m&s no.

closing early would cist me my job I expect that wouldn't allow that.

it's often like this anyway

Yuk! Yy to freezing them, poor you Giles.

Idefix · 31/12/2015 15:36

Curious to know what type of shop though...can we guess?
Bookies not sure that they do toilets though

HanSolo · 31/12/2015 15:54

'dropped their cargo' is wonderfully evocative.

Dipankrispaneven · 31/12/2015 15:54

Better to freeze the customers than gas them.

Yes, what kind of shop? Not many small shops have loos do they?

I hope it's not a café - not quite the atmosphere one wants to enjoy ones latte in Wink.

Krampus · 31/12/2015 15:55

I had an image of you dumping customers in a big walk in freezer. I did wonder what service you provided for them, cannibal? They pay you to be eaten fresh but due to the unusually warm winter you will have to store them? It is a dilemma Xmas Grin

mrsfuzzy · 31/12/2015 15:57

santa - sounds like a fartee with your latte,

Floggingmolly · 31/12/2015 16:10

Is it a betting shop?

Gruntfuttock · 31/12/2015 16:30

A shop, where there are loos and people eat, but is not a cafe. Confused

knobblyknee · 31/12/2015 16:33

Leave the door open and put a note of apology on it 'sorry about the cold but we have had complaints about the bad smell'...

RJnomore1 · 31/12/2015 16:37

Is it a takeaway?

Donthate · 31/12/2015 16:38

Is it a charity shop?
