Apple should support emojis of different races

I'm on android and I love that you can hold down on face emojis and then choose their race. However I've just discovered tonight that for two of my friends they always show up as yellow faces despite what race I select on my phone.

Apple should be on top of this right?

Oh that's strange, on twibdifferent friends phones they all came up as yellow. Assumed it was apples fault

I can change this on my iPhone and iPad. Both have the most recent updates and I have only been able to do this for a month of or 2 since I did so.

There's different coloured hair and skin colours available on the Apple emojis.

There's no red haired one though!

But nobody is really yellow so why do they need to come in different races, can yellow not just represent everyone?

I think, from reading a short history of everything, that the Chinese people think of themselves as yellow so I always thought it was a Chinese invention.

Actually looking more into it, apple have lgbt couples with a child. On android its only man woman and child. And on neither of them is a single parent and a child emoji

Ah thanks didn't think it was WhatsApp, your right that s what we were using.

I don't like sending a message and not knowing what it will look like to other people. Will avoid emojis I think from now on.
