DH moans all year about having no money and that our dds have too many toys and now he is moaning that I haven't bought them enough for Christmas. They have got everything off their lists plus more it's just they didn't ask for anything particularly big or expensive this year. He's making me feel like the Grinch. IANBU am I?

He has bought one thing for each of the girls and I've done the rest. He said "I'm not criticising what you've bought, but...". He says he hasn't got time to go shopping now and he doesn't know what else to get them anyway. I think it's enough and the girls will be happy they got what they wanted. We had very different upbringings - I got £10 to choose something from the Argos catalogue and he got a sofa full of the latest toys. I'm sure I enjoyed Christmas as much as him. I don't remember ever being disappointed (well apart from the time I got Indoor Sindy in the housecoat with broom instead of outdoor Sindy in the blue dress and roller skates).

Tell him to fuck off. If he was that concerned about his dds getting Christmas presents he had 12 months in which to buy them as much as he liked.
