when DP and I went out a to see Spectre at the cinema last week we stopped off for a glass of wine on the way. As we were sitting outside chatting, a slightly odd lady sat next to us. Young, pretty, not obviously odd or anything. She got a bit agitated then turned and said directly to me...
"What's with the girl baby? Oh, sorry never mind, never mind..."
We were both a bit puzzled but ignored her. She then turned around and announced a baby girl would be arriving in 18months to two years, that she will have green eyes, that 'they' would want to call her Leina (my favourite girls name right now) but that we shouldn't call her that. She apologised for interrupting our evening, said it was hard to ignore 'them' when they were shouting so loudly and she just thought we should know she was coming.
Then she said 'but she's not yours' indicating DP
.
YIKES! Would you totally ignore and laugh it off or feel a bit weirded out by it? Trying to decide if I should have a glass of mulled wine and a chuckle, or schedule some contraception reviews about 9-12 months from now
.
DP understandably thinks it's a load of gibberish
