I've bought myself one from the Smiggle website, I use it for my crochet hooks and scissors.

Sianilaa · 08/12/2015 17:03

We have a smiggle store in our shopping centre, is there a locations list?

TheoriginalLEM · 08/12/2015 17:04

Every girl at the school where I volunteer seems to have one, so I think your DD may be speaking the truth!

Surprised Amazon don't sell them. I thought they sold everything!

HicDraconis · 08/12/2015 17:05

There's a smiggle store where I live - try www.smiggle.co.uk and look for your nearest, or order directly from there.

SewingAndCakes · 08/12/2015 17:06

Oh yes there's a shop in Manchester must check it out

Wilberforce2 · 08/12/2015 17:06

Kids have gone Smiggle mad! Not sure where you are but Lakeside and Bromley have Smiggle shops.

FattieDoc · 08/12/2015 17:07

Try Bluewater shopping centre if you are nearby or their website.
My daughter has the foxes pencil case and she loves it!

SavoyCabbage · 08/12/2015 17:10

Smuggle is from Australia where it is wildly popular with children aged to about nine. It came to the uk this year. About twice a year they change the range so that new things come out. They occasionally add another colour (like orange) for a short time.

TheoriginalLEM · 08/12/2015 17:12

£14.50????

FrozenAteMyDaughter · 08/12/2015 17:13

Personally I think it is wildly overpriced, but maybe I am stingy. THe smiggle snakes are quite good and the invisible pen that comes with a light (UV?) that you can use to read the writing is also nice. (It has a normal biro one end too).

R0nJ0n · 08/12/2015 17:15

If she can wait they do pretty hefty reductions in the sales. The rucksacks are normally about £28, I got DD one for £16 in the mid summer sales.

Gobletofgin · 08/12/2015 17:18

If you register your email address you get 20% off your first order and I think there are some other offers on, lots of nice bits for xmas presents and stocking fillers. It's not cheap, but they are all mad on it at my dd schools !

TheoriginalLEM · 08/12/2015 17:36

it is stationary heaven i tell ye!! i used to have a pencil case like that :) Thanks for the headsup about the 20% going to get some stocking fillers too. That should be Christmas sorted :)

My DD is 2 and loves it - one just opened in our local shopping centre and she can spend ages in there. I think it's tat though...Blush

ShelaghTurner · 08/12/2015 19:53

My girls love it too and tbf, if it had been around when I was 7 I would have adored it. Santa has made good use of smiggle this year...

GoApeShit · 08/12/2015 19:56

DS has a black car shaped one. Very funky.

ChristmasTurkey2015 · 08/12/2015 20:04

We got "smiggled-up" whilst living in Australia....amazed to read this is officially a thing in the UK. Some stuff is fab, chocolate scented pencils and the like. We've got a massive black knobbly pencil case it's pretty cool.

EddieStobbart · 08/12/2015 20:19

Oh no, have I messed up? I have some young relatives to buy for this year who I don't normally give presents to. I don't know them that well but I though a pop out pencil case might work for a 12 year old girl so I ordered. Thought it was £££ but job done. She's way to old for it, isn't she?

SewingAndCakes · 08/12/2015 20:23

I'd love one and I'm 38 Blush

Twistedheartache · 08/12/2015 20:32

I'd never heard of it til they opened in our shopping centre - fab stuff but mega pricey.
Got a backpack in the sale for Dd2 for nursery coz it was something a bit different.
Haven't got teens but can imagine them loving it - I would have a couple of years ago.....

TheoriginalLEM · 08/12/2015 20:35

Eddie, my DD is 10 and i think stationary is the holy grail to teenage kids and adults alike

OP posts:
EddieStobbart · 08/12/2015 20:41

Phew! The kids live in the States and I don't know if they have it there - thought it might be something a bit different.

Titsywoo · 08/12/2015 20:43

DD loves Smiggle. She has the advent calendar this year so every day starts with excitement and she has more goodies coming on xmas day. I just buy everything on the website and always get free bits added to my order which is nice :)

Sallystyle · 08/12/2015 20:53

I bought one for my DD for Xmas.

Discovered the online shop after someone here mentioned it to me. I then happened to pass a brick and mortar shop on my travels.
