Audio books are so flipping expensive and also when the hell did kindle books get so expensive?!! Sometimes more expensive than the bloody paperback!!
AIBU TO FIND THIS CRAZILY ANNOYING?!
All the reasonably priced books are by people I've never even heard of, or books that I just don't fancy look rubbish!
ARRRRGHHHH!!

YABU to have the time to read. Think I've read 2 non-textbooks in 5 years!

I don't have a kindle but I thought part of the appeal was that books were meant to be cheaper? If they're not - well that's just madness.

Audio books have always been expensive. You can borrow them for free on CD from a library :-) If you get an unabridged audit book I think £12 is reasonably good value for 10 to 15 hours of narration. Better than going to the cinema!

Disappointed not unreasonable! I'm a nurse, I work Full time and god damn hard thanks! I don't want to read non-fiction all the time!

I download audiobooks from the library. You need a library card to sign up for their digital or e books section. Brilliant! ( I download reading books as well)
