.....for DD (18) to make the school sarnies for tomorrow on the basis that she wants chocolate, and I cant be arsed?

Thats half the remaining box!

She thinks she should be allowed to finish them off...should I offer them as a bonus? Wink

How many sarnies? Are any of them hers?!

christinarossetti · 30/11/2015 00:03

How many sarnies to be made?

All lunches made completely would warrant the rest of the box, I would say.

HoneyDragon · 30/11/2015 00:19

Dunno.

It cost me £2.50 to get the 12 year old to vacuum today whilst I endured soft play birthday fun.

Gladysandtheflathamsandwich · 30/11/2015 00:41

3.5 sarnies.

None are hers as she is off tomorrow and said "Please dont wake me, I am off college tomorrow", which I never do!

And its not making the whole lunches, just the sandwiches.

As it was, she made them but I had to wrap them as cling film hates her apparently! I offered her the rest of the box but she said no as they taste like toothpaste. Then she ate them anyway while telling me about a girl on her course who went out with her mum on Saturday and they both avoided getting arrested despite punching a police officer in the face. We agreed that they were lying :o

Sandwiches done, she got her choc, everyone happy :)

You should have given her the whole box!!

Bakeoffcake · 30/11/2015 00:44

I've had this argument with DH before. I get very carried away with After Eights so I ask DH to take the box away from me or I am very likely to eat the lot.

He thinks 6 is sufficientAngry

I insist that nothing but 8 After Eights will do.

So please let your DD have at least 8. It's only fair.

Bakeoffcake · 30/11/2015 00:45

Oh she's already eaten them. Good for herSmile I want one now

Gladysandtheflathamsandwich · 30/11/2015 01:03

Dont worry boo, she scoffed the lot!

I am trying to find a suitable replacement for After Eights as I am hard core on the Nestle boycott. I can live without everything else but I cannot find anything that comes close to their After Eights! Aldi ones are ok, but frankly, they just dont cut it :(

Oh good. Thanks, I can go to sleep happy now.

Gladysandtheflathamsandwich · 30/11/2015 01:21

So can she!

Impossible to understand after eight limiters. You don't really understand them till you've eaten a dozen or so and then there's hardly any left so finishing them is the only reasonable course of action.

YakTriangle · 30/11/2015 07:47

Ah but are they in individual tiny envelopes? And do you put the empty envelopes back in the box? I used to hate finding a box full of envelopes and thinking there's still some chocolate in there. So disappointing.

ssd · 30/11/2015 08:07

look, forget the sarnies, the main topic here is that Aldi do after 8's!

what are they like, are they as good as the real thing

ZaZathecat · 30/11/2015 08:12

Definitely a lie. I always get arrested when I punch a police officer in the face.
