To just want to order a takeaway.

DC are with their nan, DH is in work and I'm home alone and hungry. I have been to a funeral so want to order a takeaway, but minimum order is £15.

I don't mind paying a delivery charge for ordering for one but why the minimum order.

Order it! Order pizza until you hit the minimum then that's breakfast sorted!

PennyHasNoSurname · 16/11/2015 19:28

Go collect? No minimum order and can usually collect within 15/20 mins

Can you add in fizzy juice or a pudding that will keep?

LemonRedwood · 16/11/2015 19:29

Get pizza, sides and dessert. That should do it Grin

Don't fancy pizza, there was loads at the buffet but couldn't eat.

Really need some comfort food right now

Can you use a different takeaway with a lower minimum. Or just go and collect.

gamingmum · 16/11/2015 19:31

That sounds like a goal to aim for, get lots and put what you don't eat in the fridge for breakfast. Be it Chinese pizza Indian etc they all make a great breakfast!

IHaveBrilloHair · 16/11/2015 19:33

Order £15 worth of food, fridge the leftovers for tomorrow.

Grilledaubergines · 16/11/2015 19:34

Get it and then you've tomorrow's dinner sorted.

There has to be a minimum order or it wouldnt be worth their while - everyone would be ordering a fivers worth and it wouldn't cover their costs

PiperIsTerrysChoclateOrange · 16/11/2015 19:35

I have £12 in my account till the morning.

Anything effortless and filling lurking in the freezer?

PotOfYoghurt · 16/11/2015 19:54

Look on hungry house/just eat, there are loads in my area that have a minimum of £10 so there will probably be one near you too.

PiperIsTerrysChoclateOrange · 16/11/2015 20:01

I think Iceland cheese hamwiches in the freezer ( my guilty pleasure) and frozen fries ( another secret pleasure) will have to do
