I'm 33 weeks, is it to early to get the clothes washed and hung in the wardrobe today? is it bad luck or maybe just good planning? Or neither lol

I waited until maternity leave started but if you have time do it. I enjoyed sorting them into drawers and labelled drawers for ease when baby arrived.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 31/10/2015 14:21

Whether you wash clothes or not will have no impact on the outcome of your pregnancy. If, God forbid, it all went wrong, you wouldn't feel any sadder because you'd find some laundry. Washing new baby clothes is a joyful thing. If you have time, I'd do it now while there's a chance of line drying them.

Picnic2223 · 31/10/2015 14:21

That's why I want to start now, I'm not taking much time before my due date and can get then washed today and ironed abd sorted tomorrow, also gives me a chance to sees what I already have.

If you'll enjoy it why not.

Gruntfuttock · 31/10/2015 14:34

Why on earth would anyone feel the need to ask a bunch of strangers whether to do some laundry? Confused

I'm about the most indecisive person imaginable (or am I? Maybe I'm not. I probably am tho'. Wink), but even I don't start a thread asking whether I should do some washing or not.

cranberryx · 31/10/2015 18:13

I'm having a similar dilemma (sorry to hijack) because I don't want to wash too much in case baby is bigger than I expect and then I can return the clothes that are too small!

Currently 36 weeks and washing all the hospital bag clothes though Grin

overthemill · 31/10/2015 18:14

I would get ready as you will be so busy later. And my dd was born at 36 weeks and I didn't even have a baby grow seat. Not very prepared

overthemill · 31/10/2015 18:14

Car seat!

TeenyfTroon · 31/10/2015 18:17

Read a book.
Cut your nails.
Go to the toilet without rushing.
Lie down in peace.
Talk on the phone. For longer than 30 seconds.
Bugger the washing.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 31/10/2015 18:20

I've done most of mine already. I'm 32 weeks

HackerFucker22 · 31/10/2015 18:22

It could be sitting in a drawer for 9 weeks though?

I adored doing my baby laundry both times (I love doing laundry in general though) but I waited until 37w.

TeenyfTroon · 31/10/2015 21:24

Seriously, do whatever makes you happy and enjoy the last weeks of pregnancy.

Tootsiepops · 31/10/2015 21:34

I'm 37 weeks and haven't washed anything yet. I can't imagine finding it enjoyable. I must be missing something Blush

putthePuffindown · 31/10/2015 22:54

I'm 36wks and have done half of mine, but then it's all second hand. Didn't find it enjoyable tho Confused
