To lock DP in the shed?

Came home at 7pm from a really long day at work yesterday - went straight out to pick DC1 up from sports, then came home and baked cakes for DC2s youth club, did DC1s home work with him, read stories to DC2, put both to bed, washed dishes and loaded the washing machine.

I thought: I could watch a decent film before I go to bed, so stuck on one of my favourite horror films. Halfway through DP then comes and sits down with a magazine, then this ensues for the next 30 mins:

"Is he a vampire?"
"When was this made?"
"Is this the one with Freddy Krueger?"
"What's this actually about?"
"She's pretty stupid!"
"Don't you have the volume up a bit loud?"

Here's my question - we have a shed and a decent padlock. WIBU to lock DP in there the next time I want to enjoy a film? I would provide soft drinks and snacks...

Not at all unreasonable. I think you're being very generous with the drinks and snacks Halloween Grin

A space blanket, a bucket, and the May 2009 issue of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics.

Or cling film and mars bars and you could have your own scene from The Full Monty

I think you're extremely reasonable that he's not in there now!

Only if my OH can go in there with him...............

Watching TV with him last night new episode of a show we follow.

Ohh so who's he then (talking over the person introducing the new character) so we rewind.

Why he do that then?

Who's he?

Whats that all about?

I don't know, if I'd seen the episode I wouldn't be watching it again FFS. . .

And he wonders why I record so many things and watch them when he's out

Oh, I forgot the loud music that started blaring from the iPad 5 mins after I pressed play, so for the first 30 mins this very atmospheric, carefully constructed horror film had a Katy Perry soundtrack....
