To be still pissed off

This weekend we met up with some friends for a few drinks. I ended up driving and not drinking DH only had about 4 pints.

Anyway I'd left DC with my mum, she minds DC while we work too and if we go out she is who has DC 99% of time or else my sister will. I am NC with In laws as they have been very nasty with me but DH and DC see them although very rarely as DH is a lazy sod and barely goes to see his mum. Anyway sitting chatting with friends in pub and one asked where DC was...I told them with my mum and next thing DH started saying I hate your mum I hate her. I told him to stop but he xontinued my sister and her DP were out with us too and she said to ignore him he was winding me up but I am still so annoyed at him.

Apparently he likes to winde me up. But there was a real nastiness to him and he really embarrassed me he has said I'm over reacting am I?

You're not over reacting, he was being a twat. Has he had any issues with your mum before?

VimFuego101 · 14/10/2015 00:28

Unless there is a huge backstory he was incredibly rude. Even if there was a backstory he was out of order to use her babysitting services while telling you and your family he hates her.

Fatmomma99 · 14/10/2015 00:36

Do you know why he hates her?

Does he appreciate what he gets from her?

Sounds very nasty.

Is this tit-for-tat because you and his mum don't get along? Still not okay btw.
