My DP highlight my hair! Never did a home kit for highlighting before. Currently resemble a cross between Predator verse The Thing lol

Wow.
I let my mum put streaks in my hair once, we used tinfoil to separate my hair. I looked like a ready meal struck by lightning!

I let DH colour my hair

WowOoo · 06/10/2015 18:12

Have you let him do it? I'd say no! Or leave it on for a very short time.

A friend did 'highlights' for me once when I was younger. Never again. Had to get a haircut similar to Sinead O'Connor's at the time it was so bad.

Have to see the after pics if it's been done. Hope it's a good result if you did.

Place marking for an after pic! I'm tempted by those home highlighting kits but I manage to mess up a full head of colour Grin

Nothing happened ShockSad! To make matters worse I am house sitting DP's sisters house and forgot to bring shampoo, so I had to rinse hair with plain water and I found some baby oil for hair in her bathroom which I've put in hair as it was so knotty it looked like I had a bird nest on my face! Absolutely no change at all! So disappointed I was looking forward to my new makeover lol!! It wasn't DP it was a shit product WineHmm So now I have a Grease lightning oil effect look Blush
