Bathroom light! Argh!!

... to be pissed off that the ceiling light I bought for the bathroom from the bathroom light section of B&Q (which has now been fitted by the fiancé fgreat stress - as is always the case, because NOTHING goes effing smoothly in this house) only to discover on throwing out the box that in small print it says NOT SUITABLE FOR BATHROOMS. I mean, FFS!!!! It was in the bathroom bloody section!!!

So I'm now going to have to return it, fill in the holes of our freshly plastered ceiling and re-bloody-paint it and then go through the rigmorol of fitting another bloody light.

Find a light thats bigger so no having to fill holes etc. and have a right go at B&Q.

Hands lighting.. Flowers op return light to b&q with strong words..

My bathroom lights are not suitable for bathrooms either. If you don't create lots of steam they should be OK. Mine's been up for 5 years.

Disclaimer----Don't trust my advice.

Actually, thinking about it, nor is mine Grin

Look carefully. There are a few different zones in bathrooms where different types of electrical equipment - lights, shavers, etc, may be used

In other words, if the light isn't actually over, or within 2ft of the bath or shower, then any light fitting is ok.

I'd go elsewhere tbh. I've bought 3 kitchen lights in the past two years from b n q all with 5 year guarantees on them and they he all blown
