Is it, or is it not, the worst children's channel you have ever come across.

I managed about 15 seconds before it made me too uncomfortable to continue, is this a joke?

OurBlanche · 05/10/2015 15:39

Oh, do watch more of it, WalltoWall.

Does that kid really have a 5 o'clock shadow??

WallToWallBastards · 05/10/2015 15:44

OurBlanche, I'll probably have that funky tune stuck in my head now forever until I die

OurBlanche · 05/10/2015 16:03

Given a choice between that and the new Sam 'OMG you are gorgeous' Smith's new Bond tune I'll take... anything else, please, anything Smile

Anastasie · 05/10/2015 16:39

Grin Blanche

You have a point.

It's not a joke AFAIK. There are pages and pages of the stuff on YT. We told him it was broken for a couple of weeks, to my shame, just to get a break from fucking chu chu, and of course the Crazy Frog which they also introduced him to.

I have no idea at times like this why I had children at all.

I think one of the worst is 'Johny [sic] Johny, Yes Papa'. The kid eating sugar and running away.

It's the menacing voice. Eating sugar? No Papa. TELLING LIES No Papa.

OPEN YOUR MOUTH HmmHmm

Junosmum · 05/10/2015 17:38

Please please please tell me I'm not the only one who found that so so wrong?!

MascaraAndConverse · 05/10/2015 17:42

My DSs watch this on YouTube aaalllll the time. I thought it was just them Grin

Anastasie · 05/10/2015 17:47

It's horrifying. I don't understand why a child born of my loins would enjoy it.

There is nothing RIGHT about it.

Bloody hell.

Oswin · 05/10/2015 17:53

Oh we love the Jonny Jonny song. Its so weird Grin

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 05/10/2015 17:54

I made the mistake of pressing play. Now I'm suffering torrents of need from the toddlerspawn who needs to watch specific videos. Bastards!

Anastasie · 05/10/2015 17:55

Does anyone know where it was actually made? Is it culturally acceptable somewhere on the planet?

Anastasie · 05/10/2015 17:57

Oh and has anyone seen the monster song? That might be courtesy of Little Baby Bum channel actually (I kid you not) hold on I will find it.

There are no monsters that live in our house, except for me and my family...

Just watched it with my 1 year old and she laughed all the way through it.

FeliciaJollygoodfellow · 05/10/2015 18:13

My three year old loves those.

Hopefully when he turns four in a couple of weeks he'll have grown out of them!

IamBubbles1986 · 05/10/2015 18:20

Worlds scariest teapot. Ds1 adores this channel

Aramynta · 05/10/2015 18:55

Oh good. Now DS is walking in circles singing "Daddy finger, finger" Hmm

hedgehogsdontbite · 05/10/2015 18:58

This is 2 year DS's favourite channel. He's particularly fond of their jazzed up Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.

WorzelsCornyBrows · 05/10/2015 19:00

The Johnny Johnny one is hellish.

heymammy · 05/10/2015 19:03

Yup...there's a 3yr old here who loves this shit, especially "Johnny Johnny". I've had to learn to tune out, it's excruciating!

fearsomepixie · 05/10/2015 20:29

Oh my word I thought it was just our household! It's HORRID isn't it! That and the interminable "finger family" ones, all in the wrong key and with a plethora of different popular characters but the SHAME FREAKING SONG!

I actually feel more strongly against these than the "adults opening fast food toys" ones...

Angelika321 · 05/10/2015 20:37

My kids love these too. The first time I heard it I had to check exactly what was being watched as it sounded so dodgy!

bingandflop · 05/10/2015 20:44

Glad to see this thread. My 4 and 2 year olds love all the finger family shite, I thought it was just them! Not to mention 5 little mermaids jumping in the sea / monkeys on the bed/ spiders on the web/ tigers in the tree and millions of other versions.

luckiestgirlintheworld · 05/10/2015 20:49

My 18 month old DS found both those channels on YouTube and watches them at any opportunity. WTF is superhero pig?! And the hip hop version of twinkle twinkle little star. Just why?! And the sexy Bo Peep.
He found something called Bob the train today and we now have that on repeat. Oh joy.
