Due to meet friend at 5pm to have tea. She's already over 25 minutes late and didn't even get a bus until after our meeting time. This happens all the time with her. She knew I was in a rush and I'm in here sitting by myself when I could be getting the work done that I need to do tonight. Shall I walk out? She's a nice person but her disorganisation pisses me off as it's me that always ends up waiting. I've got 1000 things I could get done right now.

Text her to say you're leaving as otherwise you will have no time to spare. Although, I don't quite understand why you still went to meet her if she has form for this, and you have '1000 other things you could get done right now'? Wouldn't it have been better for you (and your friendship) to re-arrange for a more suitable time before hand?

OnlyLovers · 30/09/2015 17:46

I'd give her half an hour then go. And text while you're leaving to say 'I couldn't wait any longer; too much to do.'

It's so RUDE, this.

30 minutes from arranged time, and then leave. Next time 25 minutes. Train her, if she's nice enough to be worth bothering with.

Well if you can't wait any longer then don't!

The time to have told her not to bother & to have left was when she told you that she was just getting the bus & it was already past the meeting time!

Unless the bus would have dropped her at the door in about 10 mins!

WeAllFloat · 30/09/2015 17:51

Did you go?

saltlakecity · 30/09/2015 21:08

It got to half past and she arrived. I was about to go. I couldn't leave when she text me to say she was only just getting on the bus as I'd only just bought a drink. She knows I was annoyed. Couldn't rearrange as she's going away this week for 6 weeks. Just wish she'd be more bloody organised.
