Dd is 3 and has just got a uti (confirmed by dr) she's not very ill as we caught it early and she has had her first dose of antibiotics.

Dh and I are going away a few hours away for 3 days from Friday.

My parents will be looking after dd and do, hopefully it would of cleared up by then and I've already told nursery she won't be in for the rest of the week but wibu to go even if dd is still poorly?

I feel horrible even thinking I want to go but Ive been so excited :( my poor dd.

My parents are fab and would obviously call me if she needed anything etc.

Tell me I'm evil and should stop being selfish.

Your kid is fine, stop being 'cra cra' as my teenager would say Wink

Personally, I would go. She will have had almost a week of antibiotics so should be fine by then.

GO!! She will obviously be looked after and if she isn't feeling too unwell now then she will be fine by the weekend after antibiotics

Go. I'm sure she'll have a great time with her grandparents.

It's a uti, not her head falling off and you've left her in the care of trusted responsible people who clearly did a no bad job with u. Go, have fun, call a couple tomes make sure she's ok and settled.

Thefuckinggrinch · 22/09/2015 14:48

Go she will be fine. Have an amazing time.

She will be spoiled by grandma, you will be pampered in a spa. Sounds like a win-win situation.
