to start ANOTHER Facebook selling page thread?

It's a good one this time.

My local free/swap/for sale page is currently kicking off because someone is trying to flog 200 viagra on there. The conversation so far has gone as follows (word for word)

Seller: 200 GENUINE viagra make me a reasonable offer £££
Commenter 1: You can't sell them, they're prescription only.
Seller: Woo phone the police jeezzuss sort your ed out
Commenter 2: (tags friend) any good for you?
Commenter 1: I know someone that died of a heart attack after taking these.
Friend of commenter 2: I don't need it mate, (girlfriend) can keep it up!
Commenter 3: Are u kidding? Get it off now!
Seller: Everyone fuck off saying get it off!
Commenter 4: Stiff competition hahaha
Commenter 5: Stop drug dealing on this site
Commenter 4: Put them in ur eyes and u will look dead hard hahaha
Commenter 5: You will get arrested
Commenter 4: Are you selling them because ur hard up hahahaha
Commenter 6: (Commenter 5) is a douche. It's not like she's selling heroin or coke get a grip. You look like you've swallowed a few there on your profile pic you've got a stiff neck hahaha.

It's like a soap opera in action. It's actually kind of beautiful

I'm not sure what the best bit is - Commenter 5 and 6 having their argument out of nowhere, or commenter 4 making stiffy jokes that only he is laughing at

Someone please tell me IABU for whiling away my Sunday night laughing at these fine examples of humanity, when I could be doing something much more productive

I don't need to remind myself why I hate FB and never use it as long as I'm on MN.

(although this is quite entertaining, and I'm quite enjoying all the stiff jokes, so do update on the conversation, if you can be bothered!)

You get more intelligent life at the bottom of ponds than on FB selling pages and your OP just proved that! How are you stopping yourself from commenting?

Where did he get 200 from, you only get prescribed 4 a month and can sell them a tenner each if you sell them through the backdoor.

200 makes me think fakes.

Blimey and I thought all the thickos were on my FB selling pages. I actually despair of finding decent human beings on them to sell to now.

Good entertainment though.

Especially when people are selling their handmade overpriced crap, I sit there and roll my eyes at said overpriced crap, then notice one of my FB acquaintances is bloody buying it! Happened a few times now. I could knock up what she's after if she wants to be stupid enough to pay someone money for something she could easily do herself. Mind you, she isn't blessed with brains either.

It's like these fb selling sites are the home of the thick and uneducated. Why does everyone speak in that same thick way. It only attracts that lot. These threads are hilarious to read though.

excuse me, WitteryTwittery, but I was the first person to comment on this thread and I said in it that I found those jokes funny.

Commenters 2, 4, 6 and 7 are now posting pictures of tiny penises with captions such as 'this bloke could do with some'.

Commenter 4 piped up again with 'I only take it to stop me rolling out of bed hahahah'

The seller has come back and said "Haha I am in stitches, all u no good busy body's need to get a life and chill out actually if u inbox me i will send you some for free a good shag might do you all good".

This is making my day

The seller has just updated to let everyone know that she only has 100 left - "Stock is running out fast" apparently

Maybe everyone on MN has gone and bought some from her

Crikey jorah - I've just re-read my post from last night and clearly posting when in the grip of painkillers and piriton is not a good idea! I didn't mean it to sound like YOU were stupid - I meant the people on the FB selling page! I hope you didn't think I was calling you more stupid than the sludge at the bottom of the pond - that was not what I meant

FarFrom a) it is never too early for gin and b) it may be that I am also in the grip of painkillers, and tramadol turns my brain to mush, but I didn't think you were calling me stupid - I was just acknowledging that I am stupid and that lot make me feel smart
