Just had an email from Paperchase, selling notebooks, bags, diaries etc for students, ready for the new school/uni term.

Am no prude but AIBU to think making heroin-based puns is totally out of order?

Well, I never knew gear meant heroin specifically. Everyone I know uses it to mean weed.

Anyway, it sound like some down wiv da kidz marketing bod at Paperchase has come up with this as a wacky marketing wheeze. Maybe email their head office?
