If going today go earlier as the traffic at standstill at the moment! I walked quicker than the cars last saturday x

Park at the Airport, get a train to New St to meet and get train back, or another station just outside the city. It'll be much less stressful!

PenelopePitstops · 12/09/2015 09:32

See if you can get him to jump on a train to international instead, much easier pick up for the sake of 10 mins effort from him.

Marshy · 12/09/2015 09:42

There is short term parking but last time I was there it was a building site with horrible traffic.

The international idea is a good one.

I usually park in one of the car parks off Bromsgrove Street, or at weekends a meter there. Not too far to walk. And you can pop in to the Chinese supermarkets!

You can get to bromsgrove street quite easily and you avoid the traffic. Turn off the ring road just before the mosque.

I usually oark on what I call the red car park town hall) or the bullring. But they are both barrier/drive in take a ticket type places

moveoverhogger · 12/09/2015 09:48

What direction are you coming into town from?

balletgirlmum · 12/09/2015 09:49

There is also the one opposite dance exchange /Brb studios but they are often busy on Saturdays with Associate mums.

There is NCP car park in St Judes Passage, its a bit pricy but about 2 min away from station.

ScarlettInSpace · 12/09/2015 10:07

The new short stay if you wait in your car?
You'll only need a ticket when you leave the car, it's pay and display.

MariaPhipps · 12/09/2015 10:50

Thanks all - think I'll park at another station get her to travel to there.

Bit late but there is actually a short stay car park above the station - or you can just sit and wait in the drop off area (although you couldn't leave your car to go and meet her from the drop off area)
