The films are cute. I'm not convinced the squeaky babble is destroying children's language skills.

But on Facebook they are a menace. All that inspirational bullshit. And now a Minion status about a status. Am IBU to think is ridiculous? Do I just need more sleep?

I wish I could block but the person who posted is unintentionally hilarious every now and then. Only just seen it was shared from a page called "Minion Jokes". Is that a joke now? Amazing.

It isn't just minion quotes. there are pages called Minion Jokes and minion inspiration too. I have blocked them but the buggers keep sneaking through. X

Loathe minion posts. I don't read them, even though they are often posted by people I genuinely like!

You can cull them, when they are posted click the arrow. Most are shared from weird pages like daily minion. On the drop down from the arrow click 'block all from daily minion' repeat. Block the source not your friends.

Slowly you'll get rid of the majority as they are shared from crap pages like that. If you block one called aunty acid as well that gets rid of a lot of shit.

I don't get it at all, the 'quotez' range from cheesy inspirational all the way through to offensive jokes, they are shit anyway and seeing them attached to a minion doesn't make them any less shit

I've been blocking them as described and it does help, but the odd one does still sneak through.

The option not to see friend's 'likes and shares' would be a godsend on Facebook. Often my news feed is chock full of photos of people I don't know, just because my friends have liked them.

I've blocked most of the inspirational quote sites, you get the odd new one popping up but it's drastically reduced now.

I'm rather thankful the awful Mrs brown ones seem to have tapered off a bit as well.

Its nice that Facebook are finally giving Us a little more control over what we want to see.
