Would i be out of order asking my parents to tidy the kuds room next time they come, so they can be the bad guys and have to throw away some of the crap they constantly bring with them.

Yes. You are the parent so just do it.

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 25/08/2015 21:48

Have you used the classic "how about we leave them at granny's house, for next time we visit...?"

xavierfondue · 25/08/2015 21:48

That's a very good nickname, ox530x610 how on earth do you remember it each time?

ArendelleQueen · 25/08/2015 21:49

How crap is 'crap'? What's crap to you might be treasure to your kids? I think there has to be a line.

Happy meal toys, inflatable squeaky hammer type things.

I know it is treasure to them, but my house isn't elastic stuff has to go out so new stuff can come in.

I just changed my nickname in my profile it comes up everytime, can't even remember what it says anymore. It is sarky or geeky?

My DM says to me that I can just take stuff to the charity shop. Why would I want to spend my life going to the charity shop?!

0x530x610x750x630x79 · 25/08/2015 22:02

They bring it to our house, drive it 250 miles as a gift.
I do "lets leave it here" knowing my mum will have it in the bin before we have left the county, when we visit them.
i know the problem is i hate throwing stuff away it is so wasteful, so much plastic being used for 10 mins to sit in landfill for 1000 years.
